After his studies at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts, Jos van der Meulen became known as an inventor of odd and extraordinary products and objects. He raises the status of cast-off things by giving them new and different lives. His motto is: Use everyday life to beautify everyday life!

A mystery is solved: artist Jos van der Meulen has discovered the forest where clothes-pegs grow on trees. At regular intervals he harvests the wood and makes these small, unique monuments for us. They hold your favourite photo so it will always be in sight.

Paperbox

Like Paperbag, Paperbox is made of unused billboard posters. The print on every box is different and always a surprise. The box is comes in a flat package; when you unfold it, you get a rectangular box that?s perfect for storing old newspapers for recycling.

Paperbag

These colourful wastepaper baskets are made from unused billboard posters that have been sewn together. It?s always a surprise to see which poster has been used to make each Paperbag, even though you can often hardly recognise the advert. Paperbag comes in a flat package and can be easily unfolded using the accompanying instructions, making a wastepaper basket that will last for years.
